Peter Semple is the Chief Marketing Officer at Depop. He leads Depop’s global brand and marketing teams: overseeing the health and evolution of the Depop brand, and ensuring Depop is reaching and captivating audiences to encourage mass adoption of circular fashion. He has been at Depop since early 2019, and in addition to his marketing responsibilities, has also overseen Impact (Sustainability and DEI), as well as being Exec Sponsor for Depop's Mental Health & Wellbeing ERG.
Before joining Depop, Peter spent seven years leading product and marketing innovation projects at Google's Creative Lab in New York and London, working across existing Google products and emergent technologies. Before Google, he worked in creative agencies with international brands including Converse, Nike, O2 and Coca-Cola.
Outside Depop, Peter has launched a couple of personal fashion projects over the years, and is obsessive about music, design and youth culture.
Peter lives in London with his wife, two children and two dogs.
